ARDG is a resource development business that specialises in identifying and developing strategic quarry resources to supply major infrastructure projects and replenish resource-depleted Australian construction material markets.
ARDG also collaborates and partners with other reputable organisations with interests in exploring, developing and executing opportunities in the extractive industries / construction materials and mining sectors, that ultimately provide meaningful value for all involved parties.
Since inception in mid-2016, ARDG has obtained approval for 12 greenfields quarry operations to supply the construction material requirements of major renewable energy projects, including the Sapphire, Crudine Ridge and Rye Park Wind Farm projects. ARDG is also seeking planning approval for on-site quarries to support the construction of the Liverpool Range Wind Farm and Winterbourne Wind Farm. These operations have and continue to deliver significant cost saving benefits to these projects, while also reducing construction traffic impacts on the surrounding communities.
ARDG is currently seeking planning approval for the development of a large, strategically-located hard rock quarry resource (Stone Ridge Quarry Project - SSD10432) located 20 kilometres north of Newcastle. The Project is located within the Eagleton Volcanics - one of the few geological formations within the Lower Hunter that are considered prospective for hosting high-quality quarry resources. If approved, the Stone Ridge Quarry Project will contribute significantly to solving an impending construction materials shortfall within the Lower Hunter, Central Coast and northern Sydney regions. It would also provide a substantial long-term royalty stream to the New South Wales government.
