Illoura Quarry Project- Status: Completed
ARDG’s Illoura Quarry Project is located on the rural property ‘Illoura’ near Sallys Flat, approximately 11 kilometres northwest of Sofala, in the NSW Central Tablelands.
The Illoura Quarry was established to produce high quality concrete aggregates for use in the development of the adjacent Crudine Ridge Wind Farm Project (CRWFP). With the exception of preliminary resource blasting, the quarry was ultimately not developed.
The quarry development application was approved by Bathurst Regional Council (DA-2018/203) on 21 September 2018 for extraction and processing of up to 30,000 m3 of material per annum. Environment Protection Licence (EPL) No. 21167 was issued by NSW Environment Protection Agency on 21 September 2018.
