Glenroy Quarry Project - Status: Completed
Quarry operations and site rehabilitation were completed in late 2020. ARDG’s Glenroy Quarry Project is located on the rural property ‘Glenroy’ at Pyramul, approximately 35 kilometres south of Mudgee, in the NSW Central Tablelands.
The Glenroy Quarry produced high quality construction materials for use in the development of the adjacent Crudine Ridge Wind Farm Project (CRWFP).
The quarry development application was approved by Mid-Western Regional Council (DA-0218/2018) on 27 July 2018 for extraction and processing of up to 30,000 m3 of material per annum. Environment Protection Licence (EPL) No. 21144 was issued by NSW Environment Protection Agency on 1 August 2018.
Initial development of the quarry commenced in September 2018 under licence to Zenviron Pty Limited, with the quarry material used primarily for the roadworks upgrade to Aarons Pass Road. Quarry operations and site rehabilitation were completed in late 2020.
